| This newly restored home is on the National Register of Historic Places. The house, which has grown and evolved through the decades, is a history lover's delight. The core of the house, the two story portion, is the oldest structure in Eutaw(1817) and is restored to its original warmth with exposed beams and wide pine floors. A large new room across the back of the house serves as a sunroom and breakfast area. In the heart of the Blackbelt, the cottage's location is perfect for U of A sports, antiquing, touring antebellum homes, fishing, hunting, boating on the Black Warrior River, hunting for fossils on Shark Tooth Creek or canoeing the Sypsey River. |
