The Captain Lord Mansion in Kennebunkport, Maine one of the most romantic  bed and breakfast inns on the Southern Maine Coast.
  We invite you to sample the charm of the historic village of Kennebunkport for a relaxing Maine vacation or celebratory romantic getaway. Your lodging accommodations at the Captain Lord Mansion have been meticulously decorated and designed for the most discriminating traveler. Romance is evident in all the details and special touches found in the luxurious guestrooms.

Just off the main lobby of the inn is a 26' x 20' formal "gathering/dining room" that centers around a large open fireplace that used to be the original cooking fireplace in 1812. A pair of high-back wing chairs and a camel-back sofa have been provided for guests to settle in for conversation or just relaxing by the fire. A toasty fire is kept tended daily for 10 months of the year, excluding summer, July and August!
  Experiencing the convivial family-style atmosphere and mouth-watering creations at a Captain Lord Mansion breakfast is the "frosting- on-the-cake" of a visit to the inn.
