Honeoye, NY, Greenwoods Bed and Breakfast Inn

Great Destinations The Finger Lakes Book A Complete Guide by Datharine Delavan Dyson 2001

You drive just off Routes 5&20 to reach this spacious two-story log inn which has the ambiance of an Adirondack great camp with all the comforts of a fine country house. It's a quiet, peaceful place on three acres on the top of a hill with plenty of trails to explore and three ponds just outside. Public and guest rooms are large and well appointed. The Timberlake Suite has a canopy bed, fireplace, and outside entrance leaking onto a wide deck overlooking gardens and a fish pond. Great views on the top floor are a highlight of the Comstock room, decorated in Bob Timberlake wall coverings in black and white checks and scenic calligraphy wall borders. Rooms on the back have views of the hills, those on the front get a peek out over the hills to the lake. All rooms are air-conditioned and come with queen-size feather beds and television / VCR. Public rooms include a well-stocked library, game room and media room with a forty-inch television. There is an outdoor spa, deck, and trails cut into the hills behind the house. A full breakfast is served in the dining room. This one is a winner.
