The Farmers' Guest House in Galena, Illinois was built in 1867 and operated as a bakery, store and hotel.  This handsome Italianate-style building in was a favorite overnight stop for area farmers bringing goods to market, as well as a gathering place for local folk.  This structure in Galena, Illinois remains one of the Midwest's premier examples of 19th-century commercial vernacular architecture.

This special package includes:
Two night stay in one our deluxe suites or queen rooms.  Receive a split of champagne and a box of Galens' home made chocolates and a gift certificate for dinner at one of Galena's finest restaurants.
Nights Included:
Any two nights midweek or weekends.
Meals Included:
Receive a full breakfast each morning, complimentary wine and cheese at 6:00 PM and the gift certificate for dinner.
Cost:  
$100 in addition to room rates.  Rates will vary depending on room selection and whether mid week or weekends.
