Pancakes, Waffles, French Toast
12 eggs
2 Cups Half and Half
4 Teaspoons Granulated Brown Sugar
2 Teaspoons Real Vanilla Extract
1 Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
9 slices Texas Toast-Style Bread
(or use your favorite bread)

-- Double or halve recipe depending on number of guests --
Beat all ingredients with electric hand mixer until very frothy. Soak
bread slices in mixture until thoroughly saturated. Heat griddle to medium
heat and treat with non-stick spray. Melt a small amount of butter on
griddle. Cook slices on both sides until brown and crispy - turning
occasionally to prevent burning/sticking.
Serving suggestions: Slice each piece diagonally and dust with powdered
sugar. Stack three halves on each plate and garnish with fresh berries.
Accompany with warm maple syrup and a side of crispy bacon if desired. |
