Sour Cream Softies

Rolls, Scones, Coffee Cake
3 cups sifted flour
1 tsp. Salt
½ tsp. Baking powder
½ tsp. Baking soda
½ cup butter
1 ¼ cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 cup sour cream
Measure flour, salt, baking powder, and soda into a sifter. Cream butter
with sugar and blend well. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift in flour
mixture adding alternately with sour cream and blend well to make a thick
batter. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls, 4 inches apart on greased cookie
sheets, spread into 2-inch rounds and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake
in hot oven 400 degrees for 12 minutes or until lightly golden around edges.
Remove from sheets and cool completely on wire racks.
