Lemon Poppyseed Cake

Rolls, Scones, Coffee Cake

1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 eggs
2 1/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp grated lemon rind
1 tsp vanilla
8 oz lemon yogurt
1/4 cup poppy seeds
1/2 cup confectionary sugar
1 Tbls lemon juice

Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Add flour mixture and yogurt alternately to creamed mixture. Stir in lemon rind, poppy seeds and vanilla. Pour into greased and flowered bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour or until cake tester comes out clean.

Glaze while warm with mixture of 1/2 cup confectionary sugar and 1 Tbls lemon juice.
