It's Stone Mill Suites in beautiful Lanesboro, Minnesota.
		The building, which is now Stone Mill Suites, was completed in 1885 by the Nelson brothers who constructed its walls out of limestone quarried from the bluffs surrounding Lanesboro. The stone building originally served as a cold storage facility, its lower levels being used to store ice cut from the nearby mill pond.
	The themes chosen for our ten rooms revolve around the history of the stone building as well as Lanesboro's irresistible appeal. Unique features and guests' amenities include double whirlpool baths, iron-claw fireplaces, lofts, microwaves, refrigerators, coffeemakers, a captivating décor, DSL service and expanded continental breakfast.
	The Crate Suite This unique and colorful room features chicken-themed decor. The room includes a whirlpool bath, queen bed, full-sized futon, full bath, and outside entry.
	Forest Suite Several nearby state parks and forests in the area attract hunters, hikers, and bird watchers. Trees, leaves, forest life, and the sounds of a bubbling brook set the nature scene for the Forest Suite. The room includes a double whirlpool bath, queen bed, and kitchenette.
	Farm Suite At the center of Lanesboro and the surrounding area is the farming industry. The decor of this room lends itself to the haymow loft, farm animals, and tractors. This large country room includes a double whirlpool bath, queen bed, two single futons and a iron-claw fireplace.

	Any cancellations must be made 72 hrs. prior to the date of stay. A $10 per room cancellation fee will be charged. If cancellation is made later than 72 hrs. to the date of stay, the charge is the regular room rate. Rooms need to be guaranteed with a credit card or advance deposit. There is a 2-night minimum for weekends. These rates include 2 adults per room. Additional adults are $10 each. Additional children are $5 each. For the comfort of all of our guests, the rooms at Stone Mill Suites are smoke and pet free.
